At Home at Classic Home Brew Café

Imus City is not just a historical spot in Cavite but is also a go-to place for coffee lovers - ehem, like me. It is surprising how a former town which is now a well-nigh urbanized city, became popular for coffee shops. It is going to give you a hard time deciding which coffee place you are going to visit first because the choices are multi-fold and overwhelming.  While I was in discussion with JJ, I remembered how I craved for a certain coffee place around Imus. I read a lot of good reviews about it and I just found the right time to visit it - a house that was turned into a coffee shop. Well, how cool is that? Just keep scrolling down and you will see the homelike vibe that Classic Home Brew Café will give you.

Resting at #17 Castañeda St., Imus, Cavite, this coffee shop is somewhere near from the Imus Cathedral and Imus Gymnasium. If you are facing these landmarks, get the direction on your right and you will see a street corner where it will take you to it. A few walk steps will do and there's no hard cheese finding it! Get inside and celebrate your discovery with Classic Home Brew Café!

First welcome spot: Outdoor area is served for people who like to enjoy the nature's air and (I think) who like to stain it - plainly, smoking is allowed here. No worries because they accommodate specific comforts of their customers; so go inside instead - you will like it more.

You can likely mistake this place as your home - the cozy and homelike impression is very evident. From its ceiling down to its floor, everything is worth the camera’s attention. I was happy when I visited this place because JJ and I were the first customers! I got the privilege to tour the place myself and of course, took shots of everything I need for this blog.

This shop is actually a two-storey house, but they only made use of the ground floor for the dining area and coffee bar. Yup, the second floor is not open to the customers. Their ground floor can accommodate 20 people at a time - something good for family bonding and group get-together.

They are using imported teas and flavorings yet all of their beverages are low-priced! Plus, their crew are very accommodating that you can even ask for an extra small cup of milk for your coffee.

FOOD ATTACK!
If you doubt how far your one hundred fifty pesos can take you, well, better take that with you here. For a cup of hot espresso which is Php 45 only, you can even pair that up with either a pasta dish (Php 100) or a sandwich (Php 80). This is no joke! Their menu will give you the comfort to choose the food item that you want without leaving you a light wallet. Is it worth the taste? YES - your taste buds should have a try of this!

Creamy Carbonara (Php 95)

Bolognese (Php 95)

French Fries good for sharing (Php 80)

Double Delight Frappuccino (Php 100)

Berry Vanilla Frappuccino (P100)
Hot Chocolate good for sharing (Php 65) believe me, I need to give the half of this big cup to JJ so we could finish this one

Clubhouse Sandwich (P120, good for sharing)
We stayed here for five hours because it made us feel that we didn’t have our own houses to dwell. If you are a Caviteno and you are also in search of food places, this coffee shop must never be out of your list - no more second thoughts, just go and dine here! To spend your Two Hundred Pesos here is even a more practical idea than to go out somewhere far which will surely cost you more. It's really true - there's no place like home!
